AL-03 is an eastern district in Alabama. It is 50.24% urban and includes part of Montgomery as well as east central counties in the state. It has a population of 709,482, and 69.46% of the population is white. The district has voted for the Republican party in recent congressional and presidential elections. 

The candidates running in this district are Mallory Hagan and Mike Rogers. Hagan is the Democratic candidate who has a degree in advertising, marketing, and communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She co-founded a marketing company and has won Miss New York in 2012 and Miss American in 2013. Rogers is the Republican incumbent who was first elected to the House in 2002. He has also served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 1994 to 2002.
