California's fifteenth congressional district consists of the Southeast bay area, covers most of eastern Alameda County including Castro Valley, Dublin, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Pleasanton, Sunol, Union City, and parts of Contra Costa County, including San Ramon. The Democratic since 2000. The race is between Democratic incumbent Eric Swalwell, incumbent since 2012, and Republican challenger by Rudy Peters, a Navy Vet and Trump supporter. In 2016 Obama won 74% of the vote and Swalwell won 74%. Two thirds of California 15 is White or Asian and roughly a quarter is Hispanic.
