California's twenty-second congressional district consists of central California, is centered in the San Joaquin Valley, in Fresno and Tulare counties. The district includes most of eastern Fresno, as well as all of Clovis, Tulare, and Visalia. The district has been consistently Republican since 2002. The race is between Republican incumbent Devin Nunes, incumbent since 2012, previously rep for 21st and Democratic challenger Dem Andrew Janz. In 2016 Trump won 55% of the vote and Nunes won 68%. 45% of California 22 is Hispanic and 42% is White.
