California’s 26th district is centered on the southern Central Coast and covers most of Ventura County. It has been represented by Democrat Julia Brownley since 2013; she previously served in the State Assembly from 2006 to 2012. She is being challenged by Republican Antonio Sabato Jr., a model and actor. He is currently the host if the TV show Fix It and Finish It. In this district, Obama received 55.3% of the two-party vote in 2012, Brownley received 51.3% of the two-party vote in 2014, Clinton received 61.7% of the two-party vote in 2015, and Brownley received 60.4% of the two-party vote in 2016.
