This district includes South Los Angeles and the Los Aneles Harbor area. Cities and communities in it include North Long Beach, Compton, and San Pedro. There is only one candidate, Democrat and incumbent Nanette Barragan. In 2012, 84% of the population in the district voted for Obama. In 2014, Janice Hahn, an incumbent, won with 86.7% of the vote. In 2016, Nanette Barragan won with 52% of the vote.
