It’s a vaguely Vietnam-shaped district that contains southern Lee and eastern Collier counties. Lee and Collier have both extremely Republican in past presidential elections (2008 - 2016). David Holden (D) has worked in community organization with no previous political experience, and the incumbent Francis Rooney (R) has served in the House since 2017, with a campaign focused on traditional conservative values and the Constitutional values.
