Georgia’s eleventh congressional district is located in the state’s northwest, containing mostly suburbs of Atlanta as well as a small portion of the city itself. The population of 764,184 (as of 2016) is about 67% white. The district has been solidly Republican since 2000, with incumbent Barry Loudermilk winning his first election in 2014 unopposed. This year, he will face his first challenger in Democrat Flynn Broady Jr. However, the district is expected to remain solidly Republican.
