Louisiana’s fourth congressional district lies in the northwestern area of the state, including the cities of Minden and DeRidder.  It’s 58% urban with a population of 753,181. 60% of the population is white and 34% is black, with the median income residing at $39,748. The candidates are Ryan Trundle (D) and Mike Johnson (R). Ryan Trundle stands for a higher minimum wage, universal health care and legalizing marijuana. Mike Johnson is the incumbent and believes in strict immigration, a reformed national budget and funding the military.
