Louisiana’s sixth congressional district spans over the south-central area of the state, including the state capital, Baton Rouge. It’s 78% urban with a population of $798,676. 69% of the population is white and 24% is black, with the median income residing at $59,270. The candidates are Justin DeWitt (D) and Garret Graves (R). Justin DeWitt stands for disaster funding, traffic reduction and a higher minimum wage.
