Missouri district six takes up a large portion of the northern part of the state. It stretches all the way across Missouri from Illinois to Kansas. The largest voting population comes from Kansas City, MO. District voters have leaned toward the Republican candidate in the past five presidential elections. Incumbent Sam Graves (Republican) is running against Henry Robert Martin (Democrat) and Dan Hogan (Libertarian). Graves has been in office since 2001 and also served in the Missouri State senate from 1994 to 2000. Martin served in the US Army and also worked as a teacher in Missouri.
