Missouri district seven is located in the southwest corner of Missouri and includes Missouri State University and the city of Springfield. The district has voted for the Republican candidate in past five presidential elections. Incumbent Billy Long (Republican) is running against Jamie Schoolcraft (Democrat) and Benjamin Brixey (Libertarian). Long has been in office since 2011 and prior to that he was a business owner and radio commentator. Schoolcraft was a volunteer firefighter for 20 years, Mayor of the city of Willard, Missouri, and a member of the National Guard.
