New York’s 6th district is 40% Asian, 33% White, and 19% Hispanic, consisting of many ethnically diverse Queens neighborhoods. Grace Meng is the Democratic candidate and incumbent, and the only other candidate running is from the green party. Grace Meng has been the representative since 2012. Meng won with 71.6% and 72.1% of the vote in the 2014 and 2016 elections, respectively.
