North Carolina's seventh congressional district covers the southeastern portion of the state, and spans from Wilmington to the southern suburbs of the state capital Raleigh. This district previously voted Democratic, but since electing David Rouzer 4 years ago, it has begun voting for the Republican candidate. Republican incumbent David Rouzer is a former business owner. His opponent is Democratic candidate Kyle Horton, an internal medicine doctor and businesswoman.
