North Dakota’s at large congressional district is 89.82% white, 5.63% American Indian and Alaskan Native, 1.03% Asian, 1% Black, and 2.18% Hispanic. After Republican incumbent Kevin Cramer did not seek re-election, Republican Kelly Armstrong won the Republican primary and will run against Democratic former State Senator, Mac Schneider in the general election. This solidly Republican district voted 39.86% Republican in the 2012 presidential election and 30.17% Democratic in the 2016 presidential election.
