Pennsylvania’s second district comprises of Northeastern and Central Philadelphia as it now resembles the old District 1. It is one of the most democratic districts in the nation. Brendan Boyle is running as the democratic incumbent against republican challenger David Torres. Boyle has already served 2 terms in Congress in District 13 and looks to improve local schooling and remove tax cuts. Torres seeks to create comprehensive immigration reform instead of simply deporting immigrants. He also plans to tackle the opioid crisis.
