Texas’ 11th congressional district is a large area in central Texas composed of several rectangular counties. It is 72% urban, 56% white, and 38% hispanic. The Republican incumbent, Mike Conaway, has been in office since 2005, is chair of the house agriculture committee, and has been leading the house probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election since Devin Nunes recused himself. He ran unopposed in 2016 and 2014. The Democratic challenger, Jennie Lou Leeder, has been the county chair for the Democratic Party since 2007. We have not found any polls for this district.
