Texas’ 13th congressional district is a large L-shaped region in the north of the state. It is 67% urban, 65% white, and 27% hispanic. The Republican incumbent, Mac Thornberry, has been in office since 1995 and is vice chair of the house armed services committee. He ran unopposed in 2016 and won with 84% of the vote 2014. The Democratic challenger, Greg Sagan, is a former Navy Lieutenant Commander and advertises himself as “not your usual democrat”. We have not found any polls for this district.
