Utah’s fourth district lies in the center of the state, primarily in Salt Lake County and part of Salt Lake City. Its current representative is Mia Love, the first black female Republican to be elected to Congress. Before taking office in 2015, she served as mayor of Saratoga Springs. Facing her is Bec McAdams, Salt Lake County Mayor and former member of the Utah State Senate. This is Utah’s most competitive district by far; Love only won re-election 51% and 54% of the vote in 2014 and 2016 respectively.
