Virginia’s eleventh district is located in the northern part of the state and includes much of Fairfax county and all of Prince William county. Democratic incumbent Gerald Connolly, who has held the district since 2008, is pro-choice, supports gay rights, supported the Affordable Care Act, and wants to legalize marijuana. Republican challenger Jeff Dove is pro-life, wants to reduce gun regulations, does not want to legalize marijuana, and was against the Affordable Care Act.
