Washington 10 is located in the western part of the state, and its population is 76% White, 5% Black, 6% Asian, and 11% Hispanic. Though the district was created as a result of the 2010 census, the current incumbent, Denny Heck (D), has won reelection since 2012, and his opponent is Joseph Brumbles (R). Denny Heck earned his bachelor's degree from Evergreen State College and served in the Washington House of Representatives for 10 years. In Congress, he works in the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and Committee on Financial Services. Joseph Brumbles prioritizes emphasis on fair taxes, school safety, and our vets.
